AC/DC Girls Golf Team traveled to Springfield on May 10th, where Abigail took home 1st place for the meet and 1st place for the Great Plains Conference ! On May 13th the golf team went to Burke where she took home 2nd place. Congrats Abigail on a great job!

The 10th and 11th grade students from Andes Central attended the 15th annual Missouri River Watershed Festival in Riverside Park in Yankton, SD. Students learned about the ecosystem of the Missouri River.
Miss South Dakota visited Mrs. Herrold's first graders last week and made guitars with the students. They had a fun time!
Andes Central MS/HS Semester Tests will be Friday, May 10th and Monday, May 13th. Tuesday, May 14th students will turn in computers and sign out. School will dismiss @ 12:30pm.
Andes Central FFA held their 3rd Annual FFA Banquet on Thursday, May 2nd. Members and their families had a meal, presented awards, recognized the Seniors, and presented the new officer team;

On Friday, AC/DC Thunder Girls Golf Team traveled to Corsica for a meet, where Abigail scored an 84 and placed 2nd in the tournament! Congrats Abigail!
Andes Central Senior Class of 2024 had a busy last week of school with a trip, track & golf, Senior Projects, school activities, awards, and a banquet!
Andes Central held their MS/HS Academic Awards last week. Seniors received their NHS stoles, students received class awards, as well as A & B honor awards.
Any current 8th-12th grade students who want to play football for the 2024-25 school year will have a player meeting on Monday, May 6th in Armour @ 7:30pm.

Andes Central students had the opportunity to participate in a contest to name a food/snack program that will start next school year. Genesis was the winner with the name "Eagles Eat" and received a gift card from Mighty Mojo. Congrats Genesis!
Andes Central JAG students went to St. Louis, Missouri for the National Career Development Conference April 16th-21st. Their days were filled with NCDC activities and ceremonies, meeting new people, as well as exploring the city. These students had a wonderful experience & did a great job representing Andes Central! Congratulations to Anais, Syrianna, Mahipya, Muriel, Kashton, and Mr. Hooks on a job well done!
