LETTER FROM MR. NELSON, SUPERINTENDENT

Dear Parents/Guardians,

The 2024-25 school year is fast approaching.  The first day of school will be Thursday, August 15 and will be a full day of classes for students. The first day of Preschool is August 22nd. Prior to this date, an Open House Barbeque has been scheduled to allow parents and students the opportunity to visit classrooms and meet with teachers.  The event is scheduled for Tuesday, August 13th from 5:00 p.m.  - 7:00 p.m.  We encourage you to take advantage of this opportunity.  In addition, there will be a fall sports (Cross Country and Volleyball) parent/student meeting in the auxiliary gym at 7 p.m.  

 The first Wednesday of each month will be early dismissal at 12:30 p.m. to allow for staff development. We will no longer be dismissed early every Wednesday, as we will run a normal school schedule throughout the school year.

 Just a friendly reminder that if your student is going to be absent from school, please notify the building office.

.Please use the north side of High Street (located in front of the elementary section of the building) for student drop-offs and pick-up.  The parking lot located west of the main entrance is to be used for visitors, staff, and student parking. 

 We are excited to begin the new school year and look forward to working with each of you to make this an exciting year for both you and your child. We thank you for your continued support.  Enjoy the remaining days of summer.
