Good Luck to the AC/DC Thunder Cross Country team as they travel to Parkston today for a meet @ 4pm. The Volleyball team will travel to Mitchell Christian today with one JH game @ 5pm followed by a JV game @ 6pm.

National Honor Society Annual Haunted Hallway is this Saturday, October 11! Come get in the Halloween spirit with Halloween activities and the Haunted Hallway. New location: come to the commons from 5-8pm. Admission is a canned food item!

Andes Central will be celebrating Native American Week October 13th-16th 2025 with dress up days.
We celebrate Indigenous Peoples' Day to honor the history, culture, and resilience of Native American peoples, recognizing their contributions, inherent sovereignty, and the ongoing impact of colonialism.

On Monday October 13th at 1pm, we invite the community to the Andes Central Auxiliary Gym. We have guest speakers: Retired Master Sergeant Frances Dupris, Yankton Sioux Tribe Chairwoman Chelaine Knudsen, and will be honoring Vietnam Veteran Sharon Drapeau.

Last week, Mrs. H's preschool class worked on what it means to be a good friend. We read books about how to make new friends and what friends like to do. We also had lots of great discussions about how we can take turns, share , be helpful and kinder friends to each other.

On Monday, Koda The Warrior spent the day with Andes Central Elementary students by sharing his music, art, and story telling.
