The 8th grade CASE classes have graduated from Organizational Skills Bootcamp! From cleaning out and organizing their lockers and backpacks to breaking down large assignments to learning how to take notes and talking about the positive and negative aspects of their workspaces, the 8th graders have learned a lot about how they can be successful in school by staying organized.

If you heard howling when walking by the library, the Big, Bad Wolf was visiting. Mrs. Herrold's first graders were happy to howl with him (at designated times).



Students in Ms. Leber's 4th grade class have been busy building their vocabulary skills every week during reading by taking notes and applying their good note taking skills to their assignments. They also have enjoyed Ms. Garcia's guidance class!

Kindergarten is practicing counting to 100 by singing and dancing! We are also playing Roaring Roll and Write to count up to six and write the numbers. Math is fun!

Mrs. Storms' 4th grade class followed an Art hub video on how to draw a Minecraft character!!


Students in Ms. Keizer’s Street Law class have been learning about the rights laid out in the Bill of Rights. One of these rights is right to trial by jury. To ensure this right, citizens are sometimes called to serve jury duty.
Student got to participate as a "mock jury" for 6 true cases. After students decided if the evidence proved guilt and voted either "guilty" or "not guilty". The identity of each case and decision was revealed to the students.

Mrs. Swanson's third graders are diving into the spooky season with a special writing project! Students are using their imaginations to design and describe their very own haunted houses. This project gives them the chance to practice descriptive writing by focusing on sensory details. 👻🎃🕸🦇



Every week, Ms. Reck's 5th graders have a spelling test. One way for them to practice spelling the words is through a review game. In this game, students go head-to-head to see who can get to the whiteboard first and spell the words correctly.


Students are "keeping the beat" during Music Flex Time with line dances in Mrs. Rueschenberg's class.
