The Andes Central sixth graders are enjoying a Halloween Blookit game before lunch in Mrs. Altenburg's ELA class.

Come out on October 26th from 4pm-7pm for the NHS Monster Bash! There will be a Haunted Hallway, Haunted Hoops, and Halloween Activities for everyone to enjoy. The AC/DC Thunder JH Volleyball team attended the Colome Tournament on Saturday and came home with 5-0 record and the championship! Congrats Thunder!

Congrats to the Thunderhawks as they beat Colome 52-0 last Friday! The Thunderhawks will be hosting Alcester-Hudson on Friday, October 18th @ AC.

Mr. Watkins' MS Science class is building a track for an upcoming lesson on energy and forces acting on moving objects.

The AC/DC Thunder volleyball team will host Gayville-Volin tomorrow, October 12th @ AC. JV will start @ 4:30pm with Varsity to follow. The game will not be live streamed due to a maintenance update. Good Luck Thunder!

Mrs. Swanson's third grade class has been working on multiplication facts. They are reviewing the facts by playing multiplication BINGO. 

Reminder: P/T Conferences will be Thurs, Oct 10th from 4-7pm; Students will dismiss @ 2:40pm. Conferences will continue on Fri, Oct 11th from 9am-Noon; There will be no school for students on Friday, Oct 11th & Mon, Oct 14th for Native American Day.

Mrs. Wilbur's 6th grade CASE class has been learning about how practicing something helps you get better at it. They have been practicing tossing 2 stuffed animals around in a circle in the same order and having no one drop it. Some days are more successful than others as success is not linear. Way to keep trying 6th grade!

Miss Neill's fifth grade class learned about chemical and physical reactions in Science. They got to see what happens when vinegar is poured on baking soda .

In Mr. Winter's Art Class, the 4th grade is working on Paper Sculptures, 3rd grade is working on Paper Crafts, and the 8th grade project is Color Wheels.

The 4th grade students participated in the "Daily Wordle." Students enjoy trying to guess the word before Mr. Sanne.
